app-ads.txt
How Hetvik Apps authorizes the sellers of our mobile advertising inventory.
What is app-ads.txt?
app-ads.txt (Authorized Sellers for Apps) is an IAB Tech Lab standard that lets app developers publicly declare which companies are authorized to sell their advertising inventory. It's the mobile-app counterpart of ads.txt for websites.
By publishing this file at our website root, we help advertisers verify that ads bought against our apps are legitimate — reducing ad fraud and protecting both advertisers and our users.
How it works
- Each app's store listing points to our developer website (
hetvikapps.com). - Ad platforms crawl
https://hetvikapps.com/app-ads.txt. - They match the entries in the file against the seller trying to sell our inventory.
- Only authorized sellers listed in the file are trusted.
Our app-ads.txt
Below is the exact content of our live file. You can open the raw file or copy the record.
app-ads.txt
google.com, pub-9226083958766166, DIRECT, f08c47fec0942fa0
Understanding the record
- google.com — the domain of the advertising system (the seller).
- pub-9226083958766166 — our publisher account ID with that ad system.
- DIRECT — indicates we have a direct relationship with the seller.
- f08c47fec0942fa0 — the ad system's TAG-ID certification authority ID.
Keep the
app-ads.txt file at your domain root so it resolves at https://hetvikapps.com/app-ads.txt. Ad networks may take a few days to crawl and verify it.
